The CEC Assembly of May 9-12, 2010 was held at the Friary of St. Anthony in Brussels. All members with active and passive voice, along with the Minister General, Friar Marco Tasca, and the Assistant General, Friar Miljenko Hontić, were present.

The election of the new “government” for the Conference was held at the beginning of the meeting. Friar Vincenzo Cosatti, General Delegate for Switzerland was selected as the President, and Friar Milan Kos, Provincial of Slovenia, as Vice President.

Among the various topics taken up at the Assembly was an examination of the question of the redistribution of the Conference, revising the Statutes of the Conference to better reflect the collaboration among the Jurisdictions, etc.

Since it was the Province of Holland’s turn to host, the second part of the second day was dedicated to meeting and visiting our Friars in Holland. We visited the three Friaries of Holland, Velkenswaard, Beek and Treebeek.
