A meeting of the Guardians of UCOB was held from November 8-12, 2010 in Brasilia, Brazil. UCOB (Union of the Conventuals in Brazil) consists of four Jurisdictions: the Province of St. Francis of Assisi, with its offices in Santo André, São Paolo; the Province of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, with offices in Brasilia; the Custody of the Immaculate Conception, with offices in Rio de Janeiro; and the Mission of St. Bonaventure, with offices in Fortaleza, Ceará-North.

There were 29 Friar Guardians present along with the Ministers Provincial: Friar Geraldo Monterio from São Paolo, Friar Norberto de Moura from Brasilia, Friar Antonio Molisani from the Custody of Rio, and the Superior of the Mission in Maranhão, Friar Clevis Mafra. Also present was the Assistant General for FALC, Friar Jorge Fernández. The meeting maintained a fraternal atmosphere, and a good discussion was led by Friar Fernando Araújo de Lima, OFM, psychologist, and also Guardian of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. The principal theme was the role of the Guardian and the human rapport with the community, in the light of grace.

All of the participants were content both with being together, and with the fruit that each one was able to take home.
