18th Ordinary Chapter for the Province of Spain

From April 30 to May 3, 2008, the first part of the 18th Ordinary Provincial Chapter for the Province of Spain was held in Galapagar (Madrid), presided over by the Minister General, Friar Marco Tasca, with Friar Valentín Redondo, Assistant General for the CIMP present, who was the previous Minister of that Province.

Thursday, April 24, 2008 - Archbishop Gianfranco Agostino Gardin presided at the celebration of the solemn inauguration of the large chapel at San Teodoro (where, in 1917, Father Kolbe with some other Friars, founded the Militia of the Immaculate), recently restored within the Friary of St. Maximilian Kolbe.
